Extended Producer Responsibility (E.P.R.)

One of the European Union’s strategies for preventing the degradation of our environment is to make manufacturer’s responsible for managing the waste that is generated through the use of their products. Specialists at solving compliance with legislation on WEEE (electronic waste), batteries and packaging.

WEEE and Batteries and/or Battery Packs

Many countries throughout the world impose obligations on companies that manufacture and sell electrical and electronic equipment (EEE). In the EU, Directive 2012/19/EU applies specifically to WEEE, and the legislation adopted by each state affects companies that manufacture, supply, use and recycle electrical and electronic equipment in those countries. SLT can help your company to compile and calculate the data required by accredited WEEE SCRAPs in every state of the EU.

EU Directive 2006/66/EC, on waste batteries and accumulators, entered into force in September 2006. After being approved as a law in each country, it affected the companies that manufacture, import and sell batteries. We can also offer our extensive experience on this subject.
